We hosted our 2nd Parent University event on Wednesday. Attendees met our Regional Learning Support Coordinator, Elizabeth Pokorny and were able to chat with her and ask learning support-related questions. She also facilitated a session about the importance of developing students’ Executive Function skills and shared strategies that parents can use at home.
Mrs. Sanders led a session on supporting children and families through big life changes like international moves, new schools, and other big transitions. For more information: firstname.lastname@example.org
Mrs. Fitzgerald taught a session about interpreting MAP scores and how teachers might use that data to inform instruction. For more information: email@example.com
There will be one more Parent University this spring, at a date to be determined. If you have a specific idea for P.U. 3, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
