Three weeks, but who’s counting . . .

The end of the year sometimes feels a bit chaotic. MAP testing, AP exams, families packing to move away, new families visiting the school, graduation, oh my! It’s exhilarating in some ways, like running down a hill, arms pinwheeling, and the potential for a fall, but fun nonetheless.

Of course, we’re all looking forward to summer break, sunshine and sleeping in. In the meantime we haven’t quite made it down the hill, and there’s a bit more work to be done. We still have units to close and our Secondary IV graduation next week (read Save the Date!). We still have a couple of field trips planned and a field day on June 25. And, of course, preparations for next year.

I truly appreciate the support our parents have given throughout the year, the challenges our students have overcome, and the dedication of our staff. We’re almost there as a result.
