A Rise in Cases and Awareness

As the number of COVID-19 cases rise in our community, I want you to know we continue to monitor updates related to our school by regularly communicating with the health department, ministry of education, air base, and families.

In situations involving contact with someone who has tested positive, the school notifies the following people:

  • first-level contacts (who are also asked to complete a 10-day quarantine),
  • second-level contacts (informed to monitor symptoms),
  • the school community (notified for awareness).

There are currently NO first or second level contacts at school. However, some members of our community are in quarantine. If there happens to be a first or second-level contact on campus in the future we will immediately notify anyone involved.

Concerning symptoms, this is also a reminder to watch for a fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, and body aches. Please keep your child home if they have any of these symptoms and report any concerns to me at jc-sanders@qsi.org or +36 30 544 9707.
