We are looking forward to Monday, September 28th when we will return to our regular school schedule, following Education Model #1, which still includes increased health and screening practices. Face masks will still be required for students ages six and older (3-5 year-olds wear masks into the building, but can remove them once in their classrooms). Temperature checks and hand sanitation will still be required at the door. The schedule and this educational model can be found on our website at http://www.qsi.org/papa/potential-educational-models/.
Trying to squash a rumor is like trying to unring a bell. – Shana Alexander
Since this craziness began back in March, many rumors have spread. Anxiety grows, and that anxiety can influence what we hear because we worry about our children, which makes complete sense. I want you all to know that if I get notice concerning the school (closure, positive COVID-19 results on campus, etc.), you as parents will be notified immediately. Otherwise, clear communication is posted on our website, and if nothing has changed, then what’s posted at http://www.qsi.org/papa/ will continue to be the case. Since the beginning of this school year, it has been posted that we will return to the regular schedule on September 28th, still with increased health and screening practices. This has never changed, but rumors have suggested otherwise. I encourage anyone that hears something counter to what is posted to contact me for confirmation. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or at +36 30 544 9707. Like the quote above suggests, once a rumor is out there, it’s hard to “unring” it. So let’s make every effort we can to not add any more anxiety to what is already present.
