On March 13, 2020 (Friday the 13th!) we closed the campus due to COVID-19. We have been waiting a long time to have students back in classrooms. The last two days have been wonderful. We are overcoming challenges due to health and safety restrictions, and we’re having fun along the way. Students are learning routines and mathematics, safety measures and literacy, social distancing and art, and many other things from teachers who are more than willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the well-being of each and every child. I sure appreciate the support and positivity our parents have shown. I understand the anxiety, but I know we can work together to overcome whatever lies ahead. In the meantime, go Hawks!
