I want to personally thank all of our teachers and staff who have worked tirelessly over the summer to help put together plans for the upcoming school year. Most of our foreign-hired teachers go home for the summer, flying to the US to spend time with their families. This break, however, they volunteered to stay here, fearing they might not be able to return in time to teach our QSI students. The situation in America is dire, to say the least, and the possibility of getting stuck there or getting sick due to the widespread virus convinced them to stick around. Even our two new teachers (bios coming soon) decided to arrive early, so that if they had to quarantine, they’d be finished by new teacher orientation, and in plenty of time before the first day of school. I look forward to seeing them in our classrooms again!
